With a lovely glossy robe, this fleshy, full-bodied wine is satisfyingly robust on the palate. It is a truly great Loire Valley wine thanks to its complex, rich flavours, marrying perfectly with scallops, pikeperch in a white sauce and white meat.

  • Vintage: 2018
  • ABV: 13%
  • Soil: Flinty clay
  • Grape variety: Sauvignon 100%
  • Best served at8 to 10°C.
  • Laying down potential: between 3 and 4 years

Mechanical harvesting using a de-stemmer.
Direct pressing using a pneumatic press and cold racking of the must at 6°C.
Low-temperature alcoholic fermentation for up to a fortnight followed by ageing on the fine lees for ten months or thereabouts to bring out the generous body on the palate.
Tartrate crystals are precipitated out.
Filtration and bottling 15 to 18 months after harvesting.
