This true-to-its-roots wine, or vin de terroir, is well-structured to the nose and on the palate.
It has an eye-catching ruby-red robe shot through with tile-red highlights. A bouquet of fruity, slightly smoky notes from the local flint soils greets you before offering up a delightfully supple first taste with bold, round tannins, rounding off to a warm finish. A lovely-looking wine with spicy aromas. A wine for laying down no more than a few years, best served with red meat, European rabbit, duck breast and cheese.
